New Updated iST Controls

The iST controls offered with our new BF200, 225, and 250 models are our most ergonomic, functional, and tactile designs yet. Features like an intuitive 5-button multi-function panel and single-lever neutral lock with highly visible neutral indicator are the very definition of intuitive, user-friendly controls. All drive-by-wire models are updated to include the same iST-controlled automatic tilt, trim support, and cruise control features found on our flagship BF350 V8.

Multi Engine Applications

iST offers multi-engine applications, with fine tuning of throttle settings at any speed, enhanced docking and slow speed control, and a simple, easy to understand user interface. Available on select BF200, 225, and 250 models.

For multi engine applications, integration with joystick steering systems such as Dometic and UFlex makes maneuvering so much easier. From precise docking and trailering to anchoring systems that maintain the boat position, this feature brings maneuverability to a whole new level.

Faster, easier maintenance

The BF200, 225, and 250 are designed to reduce maintenance time for routine tasks like oil and filter changes. A new oil filter position and oil bypass work together to prevent messy drips and leaks while they speed and simplify oil changes. And our new extended valve adjustment intervals mean more time between maintenance visits.

Repositioned Transom Bolt Hole

The new BF200. 225, and 250 feature a repositioned transom bolt hole, reducing the labor and testing required during installation. This makes repowering with a new Honda quicker and easier than ever before.

On-board connectivity

NMEA 2000 protocols allow engine data to be interfaced with on-board systems and systems displays, such as GPS.

Save your battery with AMP+

At idle, when the engine senses a need for additional amperage, AMP+ automatically increases the rpm’s by 100 to produce an additional 9 amps. This helps prevent the draining of critical battery power when using multiple accessories.

High Output Charging for more usable power

The charging system features a 90 amp “On Demand” belt-driven alternator with 60 charging amps. This superior design reduces heat buildup and provides outstanding battery charging across the RPM range.
